Regional Service Center Authorized Bidders
	Region 7 ESC is one of 20 regional education service centers statewide that participates in the planning, development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of innovative educational programs. Created in 1967, Education Service Centers (ESCs) do not have tax levying or bonding authority, and rely on grants and contracts for funding. Revenues are received from three primary sources: federal, state, and local funds. Region 7 currently serves 106 school districts, the largest amount of school districts of any ESC.
	Region 10 Education Service Center is one of 20 regional service centers established by the Texas State Legislature in 1967 for the purpose of providing services to the school districts within a defined geographic region. Regional service centers are non-regulatory, have no taxing authority, and provide services for which participation is voluntary on the part of the local school district. Region 10 Education Service Center, located in Richardson, provides services that impact more than 650,000 students and 53,000 educators in 80 public school districts, 31 Charter Schools, and numerous private schools in the 8 counties (and portions of a 9th) in north Texas that make up the Region 10 Service Area.
Cooperative Purchasing Board Members
	Since 1999, we have been committed to providing high quality electronic bid notification and eProcurement solutions. Our friendly and caring support staff answers user questions quickly and thoroughly. BidSync has proven to be an industry leader in government agency bid notification. Our strength is generated from our commitment to our customers, industry, and community. BidSync is a proud member of the Texas Association of Counties as well as various other industry organizations and associations, proving our dedication to leading with integrity, innovation, client satisfaction, and financial strength.
	Today, there are more than 87,000 agencies across all levels of government that purchase everything from paper clips to construction, IT/technology, professional consulting, architecture and engineering and more. It is next to impossible for any business to allocate the daily time and resources to monitor these thousands of resources and to weed out precisely the opportunities that apply to them.
	The Local Government Purchasing Cooperative was created to increase the purchasing power of government entities and to simplify their purchasing by using a customized electronic purchasing system, called the Buyboard.
Federal and State Certified Vendor Programs
	The Schools and Libraries Program reimburses telecommunications, Internet access, and internal connections providers for discounts on eligible services provided to schools and libraries. While schools and libraries apply for these discounts, USAC works in conjunction with service providers to make sure these discounts are passed on to program participants.
	Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program The statewide HUB Program facilitates the use of HUBs in state procurement and provides information on the state's procurement process to minority and woman- owned businesses.
